To protect your data, we have taken technical, organizational and contractual measures to ensure that data protection regulations are observed both by us and by our cooperation partners and service providers. As technical innovations can quickly result in changes, you should not just read this privacy policy once, but should read it again from time to time. We will inform you in good time of any significant changes to our data protection provisions.

For a better understanding, here are some important definitions in accordance with Art. 4 GDPR

“Pseudonymization” means the processing of personal data in such a manner that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the use of additional information, provided that such additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organizational measures to ensure that the personal data are not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person;

“Controller” means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law;

We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Purposes of data processing, legal basis for data processing and duration of data storage

Insofar as we obtain your consent for the processing of personal data, the legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The legal basis for the processing of personal data required to fulfill a contract concluded between us and to carry out pre-contractual measures is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Insofar as the processing of your personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. If processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of personal data.

If we commission third parties with the processing of personal data, this is done on the basis of a commissioned data processing contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, which ensures that the commissioned data processor subject to our instructions is subject to the same security standards as we are. Your personal data will only be stored for as long as the respective purpose continues, you do not revoke the respective consent and unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

The legal basis for the processing and storage of the IP address is a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as our website content cannot be displayed without the transmission of your IP address. The legitimate interest in the temporary storage of the IP address is our security interests.

Data transfer to third parties

Your data will only be passed on to third parties in accordance with the legal requirements, i.e. only if this is necessary within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the establishment, execution or amendment of the contractual relationship or on the basis of our legitimate interest in the economic and effective operation of our business within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us or our partner companies to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If personal data is also processed by cookies set by us, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if the processing is necessary for the performance of the contract or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR due to our legitimate interests in the optimization and user-friendly design of our website. If, for these reasons, we use cooperation partners to support us who also store cookies on your computer, we will inform you about this in this privacy policy. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. You can find the details in the respective instructions of your browser manufacturer or at (https://www.aboutcookies.org) or (https://www.allaboutcookies.org)

If you have any further questions in this regard, you can contact our data protection officer at any time at the address below.
